Chris Yaw

Chris Yaw is an Episcopal priest and author who is passionate about renewing congregations. He is an Emmy Award winning journalist and has worked for several local and national broadcasting companies as a writer, reporter, and producer which he has put to work at his popular congregational development blog, ChurchNext Building Healthy Congregations.

Chris holds two graduate degrees from Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, California and has written several books and articles including Jesus Was an Episcopalian (and you can be one too!) and the soon to be released church renewal curriculum, The Grow My Church! Course.

Chris finds his deepest joys and inspirations in his amazing family. Chris serves the congregation of St. David’s in Southfield, Michigan.
