The ECF Vital Teams Interview Tool is designed to help congregations in a clergy search process identify individuals with strong team leadership skills. This was developed with the assistance of the dioceses of Alabama and Michigan, received significant feedback and modification at the April 2015 Conference of Diocesan Executives (CODE) gathering, and was recently presented at the March 2016 Province IV Transition Ministries Conference.

The Interview Tool includes potential questions, written in a behavioral interview style, for clergy search committees to consider when preparing to interview a candidate. Please note that this tool is designed to supplement a congregation’s existing interview questions and should not serve as the only questions asked during an interview.
