Mission & Evangelism Lessons from South Sudan

This webinar took place on March 18, 2014 from 4:00 - 5:00 PM ET. A recording of the webinar and copy of the slides are posted below.

In the last fifty years, the Episcopal Church of South Sudan and Sudan has endured two catastrophic civil wars and now ministers in one of the world's poorest countries. Yet in the midst of this, the church became one of the fastest growing churches in the Anglican Communion with a rich and dynamic faith, led largely by women and young people. Using a handful of case studies from Sudanese church history, this webinar draws out lessons for evangelism and church growth and shows that by listening to the experience of our sister and brother Anglicans, we can learn more about what it means to be missional Christians in our own context. Presented by 2013 ECF Fellow, the Rev. Jesse Zink.
