Alejandra Trillos
Alejandra Trillos (Ale) is the first woman and the first Latina rector of St. Paul's/San Pablo Episcopal Church in Salinas, California. Born in Colombia, Ale was sent to New York by her parents in her early 20s because of the violence in Colombia. There, she discovered the Episcopal Church, her calling and in 2008 earned her Master’s in Divinity from Union Theological Seminary. She was ordained in 2012 in the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island. She served from assistant priest to vicar in three churches between Long Island and New York until 2019 when she accepted the call to St. Paul’s/San Pablo.
