About ECF Vital Practices
ECF Vital Practices is a ministry of the Episcopal Church Foundation (ECF) whose mission is to lead Episcopal faith communities into the future as a partner for transforming ministries. Vital Practices offers leaders in the church and other people of faith the resources and tools they need to respond to the changing needs of the Church.
Vital Practices explores innovative and transformative ways to support congregations by building online communities where Episcopalians share stories, experiences, and best practices, learning from one another and finding support to sustain their leadership and ministries. It includes resources created by experts and peers, blogs for sharing ideas about faith and leadership, stories about real life lessons of change and leadership, tools for experimentation and practical learning, and opportunities for you to share your vision for our Church.
More recently, Vital Practices has added fresh content and introduced unique ways for users to interact with our many resources. Our Toolkits for Ministry provide themed collections of articles, blog posts, webinars, and other church resources, making it easy for readers to find what they need and dive deeper into specific topics, almost like a mini-course. Similarly, through our Case Studies, we compile practical learnings from around the Church around similar topics to offer readers examples of how ministry leaders are responding to specific challenges. And finally, our very popular Ministry Tips delivered weekly to your inbox, spark ideas to enliven your ministry.
