Ashes to Go: Tips for Liturgical Outreach

If you love liturgy and worship but "evangelism" makes you anxious, why not liturgical evangelism? The following tip sheet for "Ashes to Go" shows how taking Ash Wednesday out into the streets can be a strong invitation to share in God's grace. The tip sheet is located below "Additional Resources".

Based on the experience of Calvary Episcopal Church, Lombard, and other churches in Chicago and other dioceses, the following tip sheet will help a congregation plan an exciting Ash Wednesday outreach ministry, or think about other ways to connect the gifts of Episcopal liturgy and worship to the life and concerns of your local community.
