Coffee and Prayer Book Study for a Busy Friday
In August 2012, ECF Vital Practices asked its Facebook followers to share how their congregations were reaching out to the surrounding community. We were sent the following article about the Church of the Nativity in Sarasota, FL. According to the Diocese of Southwest Florida's website, the Church of the Nativity is reaching out in a new and creative way. "The suburban Sarasota church has two traditions on Friday that engage parishioners and evangelize the neighborhood, namely a men's Book of Common Prayer study and a free coffee service for commuters and neighbors."
