This webinar will explore how team discernment practices can help your congregation be more open and responsive to God's call to mission and ministry. The webinar will provide an overview of three team discernment practices and will focus on how they can be implemented in a variety of congregational settings.

In preparation for a shared activity and discussion that will take place during this webinar, we invite you to:

  • Read the following ECFVP article "Holy Imagination" on practices critical to team-based discernment
  • Watch the following short video about the work that the vestry of St. Mary's Mariposa did as they searched for cues and clues about their neighborhood.
  • Watch the following short video which illustrates how "framing" shapes what we do and do not see.
