Anne Weatherholt
Anne Weatherholt has served as rector at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Lappans, in Boonsboro, Maryland, a mid-sized rural church of 200 household, since 1993. Prior to this appointment, she served as assistant priest at All Saints' Parish, a downtown church in Frederick, Maryland; chaplain and commuter affairs specialist at Hood College, also in Frederick, and deacon at St. Augustines and Canterbury House adjacent to the campus of the University of Kentucky in Lexington.
A graduate of Virginia Theological Seminary, Anne is also an author and poet. She's active in her community and diocese, serving as Chaplain to the State Police, Barrack "O" in Maryland and as an advisory board member for Faith Community Nursing Program, member of the Episcopal Diocese of Maryland's diocesan council and as secretary of convention, among others.
