MaryBeth Ingram
MaryBeth Ingram resides in Westerville Ohio, retired and recently widowed. Those two conditions in her life have brought much change and opportunity for moving forward in and new and wonderful ways. Active at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church and the local community, MaryBeth has a deep interest in bringing to light how whiteness operates in our lives, how centering the white-bodied experience is still the norm, and why it continues to support institutional and structural racism. As part of that effort MaryBeth helps guide an annual symposium, Comfort in Discomfort, looking at power disparities in race and identity.
